High speed production hides defects. Manual checks slow it down.

Scanflow puts fixed cameras at inline inspection points on your conveyor, checking every part in real time as it moves appliance included, so there’s nothing separate to source or install.

Measured, not guessed

Real metrics and expectations

100%

Continuous inspection coverage across conveyor-based production lines not a sample pulled once a shift

2x

Faster than manual visual checks, with no added downtime on the line

2 weeks

Typical time to get Scanflow running on an existing conveyor system

What makes it special

Built for how a moving line actually works

Designed for continuous inspection on fast-moving conveyor lines, detecting defects without stopping or slowing production.

Automated inline inspection on a high-speed production line with laser scanning and tablet monitoring

How this fits together

One deployment mode, used across several build levels

Inline is how the camera gets positioned on a moving conveyor. Static and End-of-Line QC are the other two. Which one applies depends on the stage, not the product: several of Scanflow’s five build levels use inline deployment specifically.

Cast and forged metal parts on an inline inspection line

Cast & Forged

Checks porosity, cold shuts and flash right off the line before more work gets added.

Precision machined components under inline quality inspection

Machined & Finished

Catches thread and diameter drift in the shift it starts, not the next audit.

Sub-assembly verification on a moving production line

Sub-assemblies

Verifies presence, count and orientation on every single unit, not a sample.

Systems assembly inspection with digital engineering records

Systems

Checks completeness, connector seating and torque marks, with a record kept per unit.

Final assembly inspection for panel gap, paint, trim and VIN

Final Assembly

Checks panel gap, paint, trim and VIN against one measured standard, every vehicle.

Integration & deployment

What actually happens on your line

Setup

One appliance, installed

Camera, edge compute and lighting installed at critical points along your existing conveyor appliance included, nothing separate to source

Processing

Real-time analysis

Image analysis runs continuously as parts move, without interrupting or slowing production.

Alerting

Instant notification

Notifications trigger the moment a defect is detected not at the next scheduled check.

Data

Records that go somewhere

Every inspection feeds your MES/ERP systems and Scanflow's own record, searchable in plain language afterward.

Why vision, not just a sensor

What a camera catches that a proximity sensor can’t

Most inline checks today use single-purpose sensors a proximity switch confirms a part is there, a photoeye confirms it passed. Neither one looks at the part itself. A camera does, and it catches several different things in the same pass, on the same moving part.

AI vision detecting surface scratches on a manufactured part
Surface

Scratches & cosmetic defects

Caught on the line, before the part reaches painting, plating, or packaging where a cosmetic flaw gets far more expensive to fix.

Orientation and alignment inspection with deviation measurements
Alignment

Misalignment & orientation

A part sitting skewed or facing the wrong way is easy to reject here and much harder to catch once it's built into a sub-assembly.

Machine vision checking for missing components on a production line
Completeness

Missing or incorrect parts

A missing bracket or the wrong component variant gets flagged before it moves on not after it's already part of something bigger.

Inline inspection monitoring color and finish consistency
Consistency

Color & finish drift

A finish that's slowly drifting off-spec across a run shows up immediately on the line, instead of surfacing as a batch complaint later.
